Since 1976,
The Town Bagel Shops have
been family owned and
operated. From our original
store in Massapequa through
our latest store in
Bellmore, our goal is the
same... to provide
our
valued customers with the
best product made only form
the best, all natural
ingredients and the best
service possible.
1976 -
Danny opens The Buttered
Bagel in Massapequa Park,
NY. It featured hot coffee
and eat-in dining area. The
bagel store was the first of
its kind.
1985 -
Danny and Steve open Town
Bagel Shop in Plainview, NY.
It features an extensive
line of homemade salads and
cold cuts. A first of its
kind.
1995 -
Danny, Steve and David
opened Town Bagel of Wantagh
featuring a special grill
area for all of your
favorite omelettes. They
also created a self serve
coffee bar - a first of its
kind with 8 varieties of
coffee server daily.
1999 -
Danny, Steve and David open
the Town Bagel of Bellmore -
the biggest store for
Town
Bagel incorporating all of
our expertise to bring the
Town Bagel experience to the
Bellmore and surrounding
communities.
Presently there are three
Town Bagel Shops with Danny
and Steve still very much
involved
in day to day
operations along with David
and Carl, the second
generation. While other
bagel stores have become
"big business"
franchises, Town Bagel has
remained family
owned and
operated. We build
relationships with our valued customers.
